You will view Stephen's full-sized desktop live via your web browser as he explains the basics of using a Wacom Tablet and demonstrates more advanced techniques emphasizing the needs of the photographer. Stephen will explain what he's doing along the way, with me (Doug Nelson) along to forward audience questions.

From Stephen:
"The Wacom pen is widely used in every aspect of the digital industry. It's used for digital drawing and painting, photography, 3D modeling and animation as well as CAD. The new Intuos 4 has revolutionized the way that I have been using the pen in the past and in this webinar we will explore the possibilities of this product for your particular needs as well.

I am going to approach this as an artist wishing to be more effective at creating his vision. I will share some creative techniques and ideas to show you why most digital artists are using the Wacom pad.

You will learn:

1) The New features of the I4
2) Customizing the tablet and pen for your own individual workflow
3) How to create your own brushes in Photoshop to be applied to the tablet
4) Dynamic painting techniques to enhance your photographs
5) The use of the pen for compositing photographs
6) The use of the pen for masking techniques
7) The use of the pen with the Pen Tool in Photoshop CS4
8) Texturing techniques using the pen

I will begin the webinar with a brief overview the new features of the Intuos 4 then I will dive into a series of creative techniques that are pen specific."
After Stephen is finished with his demonstration, he will answer more general questions on a time available basis.

"The quality of streaming was great, no problems at all, and I could see a difference in colour when adjusted by 1%."
"This was without a doubt a stroke of genius to plan, put together, and execute a class like this. It is nearly perfect for those of us who have a tough time physically as well as financially traveling to other locations for classes."
"...best thing for Photoshop and fotogs on the web. Period."
