Submitting to the Archives

Ever have a restore job that would go a lot easier if you had another piece from the same period to reference or even clone? Or just simply want an interesting yet suitably damaged image to practice on?

Soon, with your help, we'll have that resource.

The RetouchPRO Archives are basically a repository for image scans. Referenced initially by thumbnail, but eventually also by category or keywords, you'll be able to find that bit of dress or that background you need. Or just nab an interesting piece to sharpen your skills on.

Email your unprocessed, unmanipulated, raw scans of damaged or simply interesting old photos.

Checklist:

• 300-600dpi
• RGB mode
• TIF file format
• Unmanipulated or processed
• No copyright, and old enough so that model releases aren't necessary
• One file per email only
• Max file size 4.5 megabytes

Email as many as you want (one per email), the more the better, and soon we'll have an image bank that will become the standard resource when anyone needs to fill a missing piece of their restoration puzzle. Email to: archive@retouchpro.com
