Bruce Beard's Hair and Skin Color Charts

These were designed with PaintShop Pro in mind, but any photo-editing software that can sample colors can use them.

Just save them on your local hard drive, open them in your software, sample the color you need, switch to your working picture, and there it is, loaded for painting, filling, or whatever you need. He also kindly included the RGB and Hex values for manual entry if you prefer doing it that way.

Now Bruce has made these same color charts available as Paintshop Pro color pallettes. Unzip the .pal files into a folder. Then start PSP and open a new image. Go to Colors | Load Palette. Find the folder that the .pal files are in, then just load one of them into PSP.

Ted Cullen has sampled Bruce's charts and created two Photoshop swatch files. Unzip the .aco files into your \Presets\Color Swatches folder. Then click on the arrow in the upper right corner of your swatches palette to access the Load option.
