Surfing the internet on a touchscreen is wonderfully intuitive I find. I'm old enough to remember when hypertext links were new. I thought they would be incredibly powerful one day. Little did I know how much.
And now there's this application that turns any Twitter/Facebook feed into compact and nicely formatted magazine.
But only those.
Flipboard makes my Google Reader account; Zinio, PDF reader and things like Posterous & LiveJournal look like dinosaurs.
Flipboard has really spoiled me. And I can't wait until other magazines, blogs and media adopt the same kind of 'live' formatting.

by Ed_LThis could have gone in the "Let's talk music" thread, but I thought it deserved a thread of it's own. Do you have a favorite country song? I guess I have more than one. "I'm so lonesome I could cry" is probably the top for me. A couple of others that I really thought were special...

by lkrollUnlike my last word of the day which was, for all tense and purposes macabre, this one is pretty fun. I got this in an email and copying it in it's entirety.

I had to look up "paraprosdokian". Here is the...-

by Doug NelsonOK, I got the bugs out of the new software (most of them, anyway). There's still a couple of ugly pages, but that's my fault and not the programmer's. I'm fixing them as I spot them (you'd be surprised at how many there are).
So, what have I been babbling about, you ask?
