Retoucher / Designer
Description
The Retoucher Position is responsible for retouching and color correcting of digital photographs. Retouching can include editing skin blemishes on subjects, reducing hair flyaways, enhancing the sky in an image or removing unwanted objects or obstructions in images. It also includes correcting color casts and creating unique looks for photographs.
Skills Required
Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator)
Experience in retouching for Web and final print reproduction.
Understand Color Correction
Team Player
Possess and verbal communication skills
Organized
Experience with large format printing a plus
Time
Looking for the right candidate this can mean fulltime, part-time, or freelancer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2+ Years Experience with Adobe’s Photoshop and Lightroom
3 examples of before and after retouched photos
Photography experience a plus but not needed
