Evox Images, the largest and most respected photography library of high-quality car photos, video and CGI models, is looking for freelance talent. The ideal candidate will possess strong automotive retouching skills as well as a production background. A photo retoucher at Evox Images is responsible for producing and retouching digital images, including editing and correcting photographic and digital images to client specifications. Image manipulation will range from product masking and cleaning, to rebuilding, to complex composites. Strong masking skills and a good eye for color are required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expert Photoshop skills looking for additional work in a dynamic, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
• Photographic retouching, color correction and balancing using advanced Adobe PhotoShop with focus on compositing, color correction and re-touching of reflective surfaces (creating clipping paths “Pen Tool”)
• Produce and maintain accurate and high quality images
• Photography to specifications and prepare files for post productions (as needed)
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
• Excellent Adobe PhotoShop skills.
• Sheet metal and/or hard surface retouching preferred
• Print experience a plus
Abilities:
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers
• Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment.
EDUCATION
• A combination of formal training and experience providing expertise in photographic retouching.
• Experience or interest in photography a plus.
PREFERRED WORK AVAILABILITY
This opportunity requires working on-site in the Los Angeles area Monday – Friday, 40 hours (day shift). Local candidates only please.
