Position Description:
JustFab is seeking an innovative, organized, and passionate team player that has an interest in photography and fashion to join their post-production department! Candidate must be seasoned and well versed in Adobe Photoshop and have the ability to multitask while prioritizing projects. Has to be a team player and able to manage their own time. Please note: Non-experienced fashion photo retouchers need not apply.
Title:
Photo Retoucher
Responsibilities:
- Retouch, color correct, crop, and upload product and model photography.
- Editing/retouching images to specifications set for each brand.
- Ensure color consistency across all images per product/project.
- Assist with quality control for all brands.
- Name and maintain digital asset organization.
- Suggest ways to constantly improve the workflow. Take initiative and be proactive about helping the retouch team and other studio teams.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A strong retouching portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in retouching and color correcting using Mac OS X, Photoshop, and Wacom tablet.
- Visual Arts related degree and/or previous experience in a studio environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis in Adobe Photoshop.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Must work well with others but be able to manage own time and tasks.
- Takes direction well.
- Must be able to use Wacom tablet.
- Capture one experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
This is an 8 week freelance on-site position with a possibility of an extension or full time hire thereafter. This is not a telecommuting position.
