            :p

I knew when I saw the e-mail for a new post that it would be a "friendly reminder". All I can say is "life happens" - and I've not given up hope on actually producing an ad yet. (Maybe that time limit would have been a good idea - I seem to work best under pressure.)

Well, I obviously failed. Does that mean I'm off the hook? :p

Seriously, I have to come up with an ad of some type within the next week for a silent auction benefit that I'm donating my services to, so I've got a "real" deadline. -Jeanie

Good deal! Looking forward to seeing it. Maybe that'll give this challenge a much needed boost to get it going again.

Pardon my ignorance, but where is what has already been submitted, and are their guidelines or something to follow or what?

See my sig for why I ask...

                            by jenjen
HI everyone! I started my own business with photo restoration back in the summer. I did some advertising but was limited because i don't have any extra money. I put a ad in the paper and handed out some fliers and posted a post card flier in some convenient stores. I haven't had one call or anything....

Has anyone here tried contacting any Businesses like Resturants, Hair dressing salons etc., about displaying before and after pictures of your work and how did you go about it? How often do you rotate the prints, what all do you display? Tom
