But about optimisation: I think u should make a pagination - is too much items on homepage.

I'd love to be able to make my own personal professional website, but unfortunately I'm not that experienced so I had to use a free service.

I think you should rethink about the design of footer. If you can place the social media icons in right side of banner then it will look more professional. As well as just use the blog roll widget in right side column. Hope it will help you a bit. Good luck.
