    Dave Hill processing, close or no cigar?

    This is my first post to this site and I'm still quite new to photography and Photoshop work.

    Some people on another forum told me that this pic reminded them a little of Dave Hill's work. I didn't know who he was until I googled him.

    Okay, I admit that I'm late to the Dave Hill party. But honestly I didn't get it until I saw this page.

    What really impressed me is how used every method known to man to manipulate your focus - selective color...the feeling of movement..sharpening/blurring. And he does this over sharpened...
