A fly is 1 7/8 inches from the wall when he begins his turn to land. I'm not sure if the numbers are right, but I think they spent around 5 million dollars of taxpayers money to find out about that one.

It takes approximately 1.5 rolls of duct tape to prevent an elevator door from opening.

                                What's wrong with Canada?
                                by Doug Nelson
Canada sounds too good to be true. It always seemed to me kind of like a cardigan-wearing, bookish neighbor. The only jokes I ever hear at Canada's expense are about how nice the people are, how cold it gets, or how they pronounce "about the house", all of which are pretty lame joke subjects....

Hey all, I find it kind of cheesy starting a new thread for this but well, there wasn't any "Noob presentation thread" so far. So hello to everyone around here.
I came by while doing some research about TV formats and stuff like that. But didn't get all the answers I'm looking for,...

This thread is not meant to start a political debate on this site. We all know that politicians in every party bash their opponents. I'd like to see a website where information about candidates can be posted by anyone, but only if there is a source of easily verifiable information posted as well. I...

Too much media coverage since 9-11?
                                by DJ Dubovsky
Just curious, but since the disaster of September 11, has all the media coverage helped you be more informed or is it giving you too much news and scaring the heck out of you? I know I am still eager to know what's going on but sometimes there is so much news going on that it gets a bit over whelming....

                                Hello everyone,

Is it possible to measure HSB or HSL values by using the info palette in CS6? I've installed the Optional Plugins so HSB/HSL is now available through the Filter menu but there's no option to choose HSB or HSL under the info palette. It'd be useful to be able to measure the...
