Hi I'm back again! (well, for a few minutes anyway..)
hi again everybody,
sorry to be gone without saying anything. i didn't realize my PM box was full (i just emptied it) and my old email was horribly unreliable (it was a free service and for some reason i wouldn't get some of my emails) but now i've got a new email (it came with the ADSL which i just got - I love the speed!) which i put up in my profile. anyway, I've really missed being able to spend so much time in the forums when i had my knee problems (for the past month and a half i've had almost no time on here). I've had a crazily busy summer: working about 45 hours a week, doing Driver training, fixing up my car, going out to party occasionally, and all kinds of other stuff. I've had very little computer time, most of which was spent trying to keep up with my email. but the summer crazyness is starting to slow down (a little bit) and by the end of next week i should have some real time to try and catch up on things over here at retouchPro. I'll try to check up on posts here at least a few times over the next week. it's soo nice to have a chance to be back here again! bye for now,
- David

Way back, when I was just starting to get serious about artistic retouching, I would pick random pictures from folks websites, render those images, and then email those renders to the owners of those websites. by palmsJust read this morning of the sad passing of the stunt man,
Whether you liked him and his stunts or not the man had some courage, and many times i have sat with my dad watching his various attempts, willing him to achieve his aim. He was a character, of which there seem very few left in this...-

by ftp-JeffAs a kid growing up in the 60's and 70's, my all time photographic hero's were David Bailey and Barry Lategan... Many years later, I shared a studio with Barry, and got to know him very well. And was honoured to retouch some of his work.
A few years later, I had a cal from David Bailey,...-

by TrimoonIn the past, I have mentioned how my monopod has been useful in more ways than normal. The incident with the alligator comes to mind.
Today I was out at Rodman Dam photographing the flora and fauna and anything else that would sit still long enough. I got this beautiful, beautiful...-
