    Greg,

One of your recent posts made me think you'd like to see this. It's one I got in e-mail today.

This is totally awesome!!! Check it out, but be sure to concentrate on the area near the laptop.
You will never forget this one, I almost fell out when I saw it.

    Look very closely. Scary...

Please read the story in full before going to the link below...it
explains it better. This is amazing!

Apparently the owners of this house had been seeing images and hearing
voices for quite a while. They did some research and found that a lady
once lived in the house who lost her husband during the civil war. Legend
says that she used to sit at the table and look across the fields in anticipation
of her loved one returning home. He never came. So, they say she still waits. They
caught this photo of what they claim to be her.

This one was wild and a little spooky once you find the ghost in the
picture. It took me a few seconds to find it, but when you do it just stands
out. Like one of those optical illusions. Have patients it will give you goose bumps
    when you see it appear!!!.....

To save you some time, concentrate around the table . Best not to focus too
much on one spot. Look around the table and toward the window. Click on the
link below for the picture. For an added touch turn up the
volume, it's faint but you can hear the ghost talking sometimes in a low
    murmur.

    Here's the link.

No, it wasn't your post. It was Greg Couch's. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.

No way! You must be thinking about someone else. What's the matter? Couldn't you find the ghost?

Yup, knew what was coming, had it before, even timed about when it should occur and still jumped.

Strange things still happen on occasion...my brother has had 3 glasses break while washing dishes over the course of 3 days. Each time he was just gently washing it and they shattered, almost like the glass was defective, but I have had the glasses for years and washed them with no problem! It happened again today and this time he cut his arm so bad we had to take him to the ER for stitches. It's almost like someone does not want us here and keeps breaking things...not that I'm superstitious...but it does seem like something breaks or malfunctions almost everyday- Lamps (fell for no reason!), my camera! , glasses, Wacom pens ....I even thought my hard drive was about to die the other day, as it was making very odd, loud noises. I ordered a new one, installed it as a slave in order to copy data from the original...and wouldn't you know it, the old drive stopped making any noises and has been whisper quiet for 3 days!

I'll stop venting about my haunted house...anyone know how to make peace with a ghost?

Oh this is great!!! I love haunted house stories. We should start a forum Thread called Greg's Ghost.
I do feel for you Greg, honest I do but there's just something fun about a good ol ghost story. Especially around a warm campfire. Guess, I'll have to settle for some candles and a dark computer room on the next story.

Sorry, to hear about the nasty cut though. Hope he's alright. I suggest you use one of those long handle sponges to do your dishes for awhile.

I am so glad I put down my FULL cup of HOT coffee down to try and stop a radio program I had running for background music. Cute trick. I sent it to my family for an early Halloween treat. Perhaps this needs a safety warning:

You must be sitting down to read this for your own safety.

Don't be holding anything you can drop or spill for your own and your computer's safety.

My wife and I will be married for 44 years on Dec. 28, 2001. She has always urged me to
get rid of things that I haven’t used for a length of time. Yesterday, we decided to do

                                go through the...

                                by Ed_L
We came home from a doctor visit about 5:30 this evening. My dear wife failed to lock the gate when she came through it. We let Princess (our dog) out in the back yard, not knowing the gate was unlocked. If it's not locked, she pushes against it, then roams around the neighborhood for a short while....

Time to lighten up. This is something I find interesting, and I expect many of you will. Every once in a while, we hear about the origins of certain phrases. Yesterday, my wife asked me if I knew where "kangaroo court" came from. My answer...."No". She told me she read about the...

A friend of mine wanted some portraits of her daughter for her husband for father's day. We managed to take a few decent shots on the grounds at my apartment, and I had fun retouching them. But I thought I would give you all a peek at them, being that you all know what to look for. I woudl love a...

                                Hello Everyone,
Had the thought that perhaps a thread dealing with local remedies might be helpful. I had an email from a friend who is off camping somewhere in Arkansas and she told me that a favorite local remedy for chigger bites is a mixture of Downey( a fabric softener),vinegar and water.She...
