    Kathleen,

Disregard that last post. Right after I answered your post, I realized what you were talking about. I really would like to see him, but that's pretty much out of the question, at least for now. My mother-in-law lives with us, and she has Alzheimer's disease (although she's not too bad). My wife needs a lot of help around here now, but maybe sometime in the not too distant future, we'll be able to get out a little. We're hoping for a trip to the UK next year, and possibly a shorter trip to Vermont. That's where where my uncle is. I lived there when I was a kid, but haven't been back since. Beautiful country.

Hey Kathleen. I like your Avatar. It looks really good on you. But the "go see your uncle" went over my head (I'm only 5'8").

    Jalapeno Poppers
    by Ed_L
Sorry it took so long to post this. I know you were just drooling. This is one I got from one of my sons. Whenever we have a big get together, he brings poppers. I could make a meal out of 'em.

    Ingredients:
2 cups fresh grated Parmesan cheese
    2-8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese...

    Checking out the challenges
    by Ed_L
I often find myself clicking on the "view here" link, only to click on the small version of the image, before reading the description, in order to see what people have done with it. After viewing the submission, I go back for the description. Have any of the rest of you done that, or am I...

    It's that time of year
    by Ed_L
What do you have going on this time of year? So many things to do around the house. Yesterday I spent 12 1/2 hours of labor intensive work on putting a new brick walkway in front and around the side of the house. I was so tired that I didn't even get online yesterday except very early in the morning....
