That would not be a sound I would encourage my cat to repeat - I'm with you, OB, I expected it's head to spin. If the cats of the Middle Ages had made sounds like that, I could see why they were considered in league with witches, etc.

My cats ignored the sound on the video when I played it - so they didn't think it sounded like a cat...

my cat never made sounds when petted, other than the normal purr. he just drooled.

there's a number of those on youtube, OB. i sometimes follow a whole chain of them. i love the talking dog ones

My Dad's cat like's his lower back scratched too, but he doesn't make sounds like this. lol

Growing up we had a Siamese cat who when you scratched her lower back would turn and lick you, It was great fun when you had someone visit who was nervy of the cat and would ask if she bit

Becky, I love those guys and their cats. They have a new one based on a movie, and it even got written up in the Washington Post, I think. Funny, weird, funny guys.
