The Getty releases hundreds of historic images

The Getty Museum has released high-resolution digital scans of a large number of historic images, included many wonderful old photos. Here is a link to search the photo collection, any of which can be downloaded as a big JPG.

There are so many richly historic images here, and all of them kind of beg to be restored from low contrast and scratches. If you want something to practice on, it's a great source.

OM, as they say, FG. That's a real treasure trove. Some great names there - Atget...Evans...the list goes on. And on. Thanks for alerting us. I've already downloaded a few to print and hang.
