Lol, they don't make bottles out of thick enough glass these days.....and those metal twist ties are there for a reason other than decoration.

Haha. You don't have to be dim to be a TV presenter but it sure helps!

        Glass Plate Negatives
        by Pam Brunelle
We've bought an old house and found some glass plate negatives in the attic. Unfortunately the ones that have an image on them are stuck together. Two plates stuck together and we have a few of these.

Is there a way to get these unstuck without breaking the glass or ruining the image?...

        by blue dog
I specified American because you blokes in GB still don't understand American cocktails. You think a Martini is 1/2 Gin and 1/2 Vermouth. Pleeeeeeze! Another thing. A Martini is not made with Vodka and never was except in James Bond movies and now, geez, every swank bar in America. Chocolate...

        Photo Burnt to glass
        by hicpics
        Hey,

I've got some photo's that were burned in a fire, and apparently one of them melted to the glass. The glass shattered leaving fragments attached to it. I've looked around the forums but I can only find one's that got stuck due to humidity. I've tried soaking it in water for a day...

        positive glass slides
        by chrishoggy
Just had a customer offer me the job of restoring and putting to disk, a collection of 150 colour glass slides. These are not something I've seen before in this size and quantity. The slides are positive images on glass that are 3 x 3 inch square. They date from around 1950 ish and are mostly in very...
