  • So much to learn!

I finally decided to tackle that enormous box that was filled with thousands of slides that my dad took of us. Virtually all are dated between the early 50's to the mid 60's. This is a huge endeavor and I am so happy to have found this site. I'm learning tons. I am fairly proficient around Photoshop (although after reading and attempting some of the methods that I've found here, I have been humbled) so at least I am not starting out at the very bottom rung.

So, thanks so much and wish me luck!

      Hi Doug,

Overwhelming! The boxes seem to get larger and larger, I swear. And many photos I just want to dive in and play with them with Photoshop. Restoration is calling on a whole different Photoshop skill set that I'm excited to learn, for sure.

      Thanks for checking in.

Hello! I am new here, and a completely self taught wanna be retoucher. I started my journey in to photo editing when I began taking an interest in photography a few years ago.

I am now at the stage where I eventually want to move further, and take this from a hobby to a professional...
