I'm interested in hobbies you pursue as seriously (or more) as your imaging work. Or, if you are a professional imager, the non-imaging hobbies you pursue seriously.
I'm a dabbler. I guess my hobby is to collect hobbies. I'll try one for a few years, til I feel I have the "gist" of it, then move to another.
Over the years I've done the following at a level I'd consider "serious":
Freshwater tropical fish
Vegetable gardening
Flower gardening
Cooking
Music composition
Backpacking
Model rocketry
Stamp collecting
Birdwatching/feeding
So far the only one that I've stuck with is flower gardening. Last year I started adding roses to my repertoire.
Less serious attempts (ie: I gave up quickly) include:
Piano
Guitar
Programming
Fiction writing
