    Hello from the North Coast

    Good Evening All,

    I'm a military antiques dealer from NE Ohio. As such I see quite a few old photographs with various degrees of damage. The thought of these important pieces of our past being lost to time makes me cringe. So I'm hoping to learn how to restore them, both physically and digitally.

    I'm a complete novice when it comes to this but you don't learn unless you try. So I'm hoping to learn a bit here. My daughter has photoshop on her computer so I think I'll begin there.

    Welcome. I would suggest you start by getting familiar with the PS as a program before you go down to actual work. Katrin Eismann has a great book on restoring photos
