  • Bridge:

Hi, i have a question about Bridge:
I have a folder on my desktop filled with backgrounds, textures etc... I want to place them in bridge to save space on my desktop. Now i have them in Bridge... But, when i want to remove the folder from my desktop, then they are no longer available in Bridge. A message pops up: " Can not open file removed or displaced " I moved the file that was on the desktop before to my external HD but now Bridge can't open it cz its no longer on the desktop.
So what's the use of Bridge if you can't delete the files from your desktop ?
Am i doing something wrong ?
Many thanks in advance for your answers/help.
    Gib.

    Re: Bridge:

Not best practice to have folders stored on your desktop - if you need access to them just create a shortcut to wherever they are stored on you system HDD's

To answer your question perhaps you should read up a little on using Bridge

        by csjwolfe
We have just started using Photoshop CS2 with Windows XP. We are trying to learn how to use the new file browser Adobe Bridge. We have Photoshop CS2 open, clicked on Adobe Bridge button, double-clicked a .jpg and it opens in Illustrator instead of Photoshop. I tried changing the file association but...

I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled PS CS2. Since then, my images in Adobe Bridge will open in Windows Paint, but not in Photoshop. Please advise.

The light was good this morning so I thought I'd go for a walk where there were some autumn leaves. Please don't rehost my original. You can do whatever you like with your edit....
