Ok, this sounds weird but it's good...

    1 cup catsup
    1 can regular cola

Just put that and your ribs in a large pot and cook until the sauce reduces and gets really thick. Turn the ribs occasionally. When it starts to thicken, keep an eye on it because it will reduce and burn fast after that.

    The end.

If you're on a diet, Diet Rite cola (made with Splenda) works great too... Don't use cola sweetened with NutraSweet.

Well Jak, it does sound weird! But I'll bet it's good. If you didn't see the "Coca Cola Pork Chops" recipe, check it out here

I knew someone who would pour a can a Pepsi over her roasts before roasting them so it's not as weird as you would think. It would seem that colas are quite useful as a cooking marinade. Anyway, it sounds great Jak.

Everyone has a cookbook -- why shouldn't we? (This coming from a guy who knows how to burn water) . My wife is a good cook, but she doesn't use recipes most of the time. So I won't be able to give recipes except for the ones I find in her cookbooks after I wipe the dust off of them. If you have...

It looks as if most people on the site either don't like to eat or don't like to cook. Here's a recipe for doggie treats!

This is a recipe I was introduced to by a neighbor when I was pregnant. I had just eaten supper but as a kind gesture for his labor, I aggreed to a small bowl as a taste test.
Well, 5 bowls later and bursting at the seams, I decided to take home the recipe. Which I did and made some the next...

I use same recipe with regular potatos. Shred 5 or 6 yams or potatos, Put in strainer and press out liquid with a cup (more comes out w/ reg. potatos). Set liquid aside to settle. Eventually pour off liquid and keep starch which has setttled. Add 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup flour, and 3 Tsp oil (I like Olive...

        Coca Cola Pork Chops

Many moons ago, we bought a cookbook put out by the Chicago White Sox. Rudy Law, centerfielder, had this recipe in the book. It's probably not something that you would like to have every day, but it sure makes for a good (zingy) change.

        4 - 5 pork chops
        salt
        pepper
