  • Harold and Maude

My favorite movie is Harold and Maude - with Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon - anyone seen it? No not Mickey and Maude - Harold and Maude!

    Do you enjoy knives?

Don't recall that movie title. I do love Ruth Gordon though. She is such a character.

I saw it in theater in '76 and liked it a lot, just saw it again 3 weeks ago. I was disapointed that Bud's carreer never went anywhere. Ruth, who died a number of yrs ago, was one of the greats. You know she played Clint Eastwoods Mom in the two ape movies.

It is one of those movies that you see something different every time you watch. I like the guy that falls over in the background when he is walking with his uncle.

I know this thread is quite old, but this is one of my all time favorite movies. Great soundtrack, great cinematography, and my favorite love story.

                Three thumbs up!

I finally got to see it. I am a huge fan of the radio show, and thought it was really good especially the ending.

                  Anyone else?

Yet another, "has anyone seen this"? My brother and his wife really want to rent it but can't seem to find a copy (she is a big Bjork fan). I was going to buy it for them as a gift but wondered if it's worth it?....I heard good things but that is is a little strange as far as genre. (part...

                  Horror movies
                  by Doug Nelson
I was going to post this as a 'guilty pleasure', but I actually don't feel all that guilty about it: I love a good horror movie.

I just watched "Cube" and can recommend it (kind of gross, but excellent production values).

I'll pass on most horror series, although...

                  "Remembering" vs. "Rewatching"
                  by Doug Nelson
I recently got into a conversation and mentioned that a movie they mentioned remembered better than it rewatched. The person I was speaking with had no idea what I was talking about, but I'd assumed everyone thought about movies in that way. Some movies simply seem better in the memory, even very recent...
