  • Posting Gallery Images - It's easy!

The uploading worked like a charm, and I now have pictures on display in the gallery. It's quite exciting! And I can tell it might become habit-forming.

Now maybe I should post my results in some of the challenges......I just never get around to it

I do appreciate the flow of ideas and critiques that come from this group of folks, so if you have any ideas on how to make either my technique or photography skills better, let 'er rip!!

    Thanks for looking,
    Gina

    Gina:

Some very, very nice posts in the gallary -- watercolory churches and restorations, alike.

If you haven't yet it, I hope you pop over to the Photo-based Art forum (see link in my signature below) and perhaps share some of your watercolory techniques. There are many (including myself) who would like to get your spin on a photo-art style that many try, but few do as well as you.

Look forward to seeing you on the forum.

      Wow, thanks for the compliment!!!

If I knew how to make a blushing smiley, I would! My technique is a compilation of various tips I've picked up from none other than the Photo-based Art forum. I'll head over and see if I can contribute anything of value there

Thanks again--glad you liked the pics!

When you reply to a post or write a thread you should see a box of smilies to your left. If you click the "Get More" you should see the whole list. If you are in the middle of typing a post all you have to do is click the smilie you want and it will add the appropriate code. The list also shows the code that you can type to get the same effect.

To view the entire list of smilies you can also click here

For a blushing smilie, just type the word blush between two colons :blu**: (I won't finish the word or I would get the smilie)

As a newby to this site, would it be possible for someone to give me some loose guidelines on the way things are done here regarding posting photos? I have read the FAQs and looked aorund a bit.

My questions (feel free to add anything else I should know):

It just noticed the last comment made over in our Member Gallery was 8 days ago. Comments in our Challenges are more timely, but very sparse.

C'mon guys, our friends have worked hard on these images, and put them up specifically because they wanted you to see them and leave feedback....

          My Photoart Gallery
          by Andrew B.
I wasn't sure where to post this, or if I should post it. It's not a pro website. Just a gallery on my personal website. Some of the pics are from challenges I participated in here long ago.

If it is wrong for me to post these here, please move or delete.

          How to use the Gallery
          by Vikki
Could somebody steer me in the right direction?
I can't figure out how to use the Gallery.
One would think that when you've selected "GALLERY" from the swing out menu, and can see members images, click on an image, or the member name, it would go to their gallery, but that's...
