Doug, couldn't you get Google to act as the site search engine? The university I work for uses it very successfully. The 4 letter minimum word length on RP's search engine is really irritating.

Google is great for searching all our static pages, and even the Gallery, but it only has a tiny fraction of our Forum pages indexed. This is due to Google's mechanism, but the next version of the forum software is supposed to include a workaround so Google will index all pages.Learn by teaching
