Re: Oct 2016 Contest Discussion
Oh, And i tested a Wacom Cintiq out for work. But i didnt like it for indept retouching. The problem is when you Dodge and Burn... your pen tip is always over the area you are dodging and burning on, especially if you dodge and burn with a small brush size. And i do that a lot. Keep that in mind if you invest in something expensive for long term.

Ibvi1: I like the mood you create with black crows in the sky and black cat on the roof, misty cemetery under moonlight and ghoulish dead on the prowl (really, just dancers?)

Amy'Elizabeth: PS is a good tool but your creative eye is a better one no matter the software. Lots of beautiful work continues to be done in GIMP including the background glow created by your gigantic moon and lightning bolts on a glittery sky. It might not be scary but it's a very fine image.

Atarix: a story told--deceased parents, children at the window, a mountain for remembering the impact of tragedy. I really like the subtlety of it that's reflected in the desat. Well, that's what I see anyway. Stories do make the best images.
