  • A Mother's Reflection

This is a collage I made for myself representing more than 18 years of our lives. I have entitled it "A Mother's Reflection" as that is what it means to me. I hope this fits in with the theme.

The original piece contains over 65 different layers of photos taken over the years of myself and my husband in our younger years, and the childhood years of our three children to now. I had lots of fun doing it, and as I placed each and every photo, I remembered all the special moments.

    Thanks for looking

Certainly not a photograph to glance at.

Nicely composed and an excellent way to capture so many special memories on one picture.

This is my very first test of trying to make myself older. I'm not 100% happy with the result, but for a first try, I think its not bad

Please if you have any hints for me , they are more then welcome....

Since she lives near me, we get together every Wednesday night to sort through photos for three hours, putting each photo in it's own archival plastic sleeve and identifying the people/place/date...

People like too remark about similarities between family members. With this in mind l have made a quirky image using a photo of my Sister and Mother. Using my sister Jans image as a base, my Mothers face was blended onto it. Looking at the amalgamated photo makes me wonder if my sister Jan might come...
