    xblink, Welcome to RetouchPRO
Hope you enjoy your stay here and make lots of friends.
    Poke around, have fun!

If you use Photoshop you can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the 'save for web' function in Photoshop as described here:
Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images.. (Click here)

How to attach Files/Images to your Posts or Threads:

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere and attach a link in the thread, as you did here... (link to the highest resolution.. or the largest size you can upload) post a link in the thread to the site that is hosting the larger image, but also please attach an under 100K version (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links).

Other Hosts if you do not have your own site that will accommodate larger files:
ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) photobucket.com (1 Meg max free, 5 Meg PRO) mediafire.com (100 Meg per file, free) then post a link in the thread to the site that is hosting the larger image.

Both photos presented seem very blurred after the retouch... on the self portrait... the eyes and hair especially.. perhaps using selective blurring by using a mask would help by blurring the background while leaving the subject sharp and in focus.. with such a small photo on the net, without downloading it.. it is hard to tell if the blemishes removed left any artifacts during the removal process.. like the noticeable dark patches that were introduced where the hair on the neck and forehead was removed... I would consider straightening the photo and cropping to get rid of all the clutter

The shadow on the second shot might be reduced or eliminated and a nice background added.. the blemishes removed look fine but whatever you did to smooth the artifacts left the whole image blurry...

      Hair!!!
      by aem43
I have a portrait and the girls wings on the side are just too much. The background is all one colour. How can I just remove a chunk of hair? I am new to photoshop so have been just playing around, but have been unsuccessful with this particular problem so far.
      Thanks!
