  • Orchids on Black

I've recently been doing some work with Orchids that have met with somewhat less
enthusiasm than I would have liked. I realize that tastes differ but, I do want to know...
is it subject matter/the technical look/or what?

This example is sort of a semi-macro, in that it was photo-stacked and photo-merged,
resulting in a potential image size of 60 inches wide @ 300 ppi.

    Would sure like some opinions...thanks!

I would imagine @ full size they would be great... but @ the presented size they look a tad over sharpened.... Great body of work !

As some of the thumbnails are of products set against a white background I need to separate them from the also white color of the web page they will appear on. I am applying a one pixel black stroke to the outer borders...

        Hi.
I would ask those of You, who has quite good imagination and ps capabilities .
I need to retouch a photo of sitting person, photographed on black backdrop, but all i can get is that person floating in infinity (when i retouch backdrop to blackness). So, thinking of real 3d place,...

        Hello Gents!

Been a long time reader of this forum and it helped me a lot in making the transition from film to digital and finding an interest in beauty retouching. Today I need your help. A specific type of black and white conversion technique keeps eluding me. It is soft and light...
