New in retouch

Hi,

Im starting with retouch. I know I make mistakes but I need general opinion about photo. I was attach 1 photo with after and before retouch. I know there is a problem with hairs (brown color on skin) but how that looks generally?

Try working on an image that is not terrible. This will never look even near good.

I am not so experienced, like yourself. But don't let negative comments discourage you. I think you've done well here. But did you finish her lips? Looks like half were not treated. and the hair shadow on the left of the picture seems to bleed into her forehead area a little. I don't know if this is your photo, but maybe next time remove the watch - unless you are selling watches!

Doesn't matter if it's their photo or not. You want to make your life easier and work on images that can give you good results easier. Then, when you get more experience you tackle more difficult problems. Even if the retouching is perfect, this will still be a model holding an awkward pose.
