I thought I would try to do an oil painting on the sun valley pic I posted last week. Done in photoshop, a lot of layers and brush work went in to this one. Started off using pixelate crystallize and then mostly brush work from there.

Well done. You managed to capture a lot of color detail as well as arial perspective and sunlight that escaped from the clouds. I especially like the sunlight between the pasture and the barn. Breaks in the clouds are hard to capture.
In my opinion, you have just the right amount of detail to capture ones imagination.
