I need some feedback on this one. Didn't have much to work with....late afternoon sun coming through a window, white foam board, and a brown towel.

I played around with it using Photoshop, going through about six or seven versions before I came up with this one.

I like it! Only thing I can see that catches my eye, is the light on the beard is a little bright.

Take that down a bit, and I think you've got a nice portrait there!

Thanks Noelf, I noticed that also and have done a little work to it...revisit if you wish and see if there is anything else that sticks out...besides my nose, that is.

Definitely softer on the lighting, I like it a lot. Reminds me of the movie Excalibur

            Mortician's Wax

The faces (especially the female) are toooo smooth. Try going back in with (take your choice off tools) and add a little texture... i find that even adding some noise to match the grain of the photo will help sell the realism. Life is full of subtlety, and imperfection.

              Hi Alan,

Unless these are the results you aimed to, I have to agree with Subtle about the girl's face .... much toooo smooth to be real ...

I also think the boy's skin (more natural than the girl's) look a tad 'blotchy'
