  • is there a way?

Working in Paint Shop Pro, as I am, I am wondering if the same thing doesn't happen in other paint software. When I draw a line, it ALWAYS treats it as a selection, and I have to remove the selection box to move on to the next line. Is there a way to simply draw a point to point line without it being a selection?
    Thanks.

    Re: is there a way?

Most editors have something called the path tool. Pretty sure PSP has such a tool as well. If so, you create you two point path, then stroke the path.

      Selection Brush in Paintshop?
      by kapital
I am trying Paintshop pro X and CS2 right now, and I can't find the kind of selection brush that Photoshop Elements has. All I see is the lasso tool and the magic wand. Am I missing something? (I know that there is also that magic selection thing, but that's not the straightforward selection brush I...

      Pen tool query
      by Canna W
I have come to grips with some of the basics of the pen tool (thanks to a couple of fantastic tutorials recommended at RTP.) I am stuck though on one thing - how to make a path with the pen tool, and then subtract an area from within the first path I've created. eg how to extract a smaller circle...

      How do you do it??

I was working on an image to print on a t-shirt for a friend. It was a picture of her two grandchildren. Oval/round wouldn't work, but square corners didn't do it either.

But....how do you make a selection with rounded corners.

      I got it...

      Elliptical Marquee Tool - Accuracy
      by jonk
      Hi Everyone!

I am trying to use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to select an existing oval background. However, I am having problems trying to get it to line up correctly/evenly with the oval background. Is there a key press that would allow me to adjust the position and/or size once it's...

      Selection Tool
      by T Paul
You can use the selection tool to make copies of your selection quickly and easily. My standard practice for copying a selection is to select it then copy (Ctrl+C), paste (Ctrl+V). However, I just learned a neat little trick today.

      1. Open an image
      2. Pick a selection tool...
