  • "fun" Manipulation

Thought some of you might like to see this "fun" manipulation I had to do for a client (yes Doug, I have permission to post it :-) ) I had to combine these two photo to get all 4 generations in the same photo. As you can see the dress on the elderly lady on the end was a nightmare.

      Sandra,

Very nice work. It's very convincing. I'll bet they were happy with the result.

        Sanda,
Very smooth. You wouldn't know it was ever 2 seperate pictures. I bet they were thrilled with the results. I can see where that dress pattern could be a tough one to deal with. Luckily you didn't have alot more of that to do. You did great with it.

Good job Sandra. It looks like she was there when the shot was taken.

Great job! You combined the two photos seamlessly!

I'm noticing that you not only moved the lady into the shot, but also took the head of the young girl from the second shot and moved it into the first - am I right? Good call, since she was looking down in the first shot!

Thanks for the praise I was pleased with the result and so was the client. I was a little daunted when I first saw that dress but it worked out better than I though it would.
                jeaniesa,
you're right I switched heads of the little girl too. I thought it looked better with the little girl looking up rather than seeing the top of her head.

Outstanding job combining the two photos. Looking at the finished results, I would have never know it wasn't the original photo!

Thanks again for all your kind words, I'm rather pleased with the finished product and the client was delighted. Only the little girl and the young woman are still alive and this photo is now a family keepsake as it's the only photo with all 4 generations together.
