    Hi, I'm hoping I can find some tips on how to deal with a paper texture problem.

    I have a series of pictures I am restoring and many of them have a deep paper texture pattern that is very ugly....

    i found out how to do this in photoshop cs5 (my main app) now,
    but the difficulty is to generate a pattern which has no seam on all 4 sides.

    i asked already a similar question at subforum, they meant...

    Believe me folks if have agonized for a month over this pic before I decided to send it here. It's a friends 2x3 original of all their 11 kids and it has the worst texture ever. Not snake skin or lizard or honeycomb. Completely sadistic.

    I haven't even tried to repair it until I can...

    I’ll bet you’ve probably used the Texturizer filter to add a “canvas” or “burlap” look to an image. I’ll bet you’ve even duplicated an “artsy-looking” layer, applied the Emboss filter to and changed the blend mode of the embossed layer to Overlay to give an image even more depth....
