Healing brush creating noise/pixelation?

Hello,

I have a small problem. I am working on a high res 8 bit file and every time I try and use the healing brush, rather than adding a touch of photoshop magic, it creates a lot of noise.

I am comfortable using the clone tool and dodging and burning, but can't figure out whats going wrong with the healing brush.

Usually it removes the odd wrinkle no problem.

Hi, I am thinking that you have accidently selected the Create Texture option for the healing brush.
Select the Proximity Match option. Top of the screen.
