Droopy eyelid help

I have a condition that's referred to as ptosis. My right eyelid hangs noticeably lower than my left. Moreso in pictures than in real life. I hate taking pictures because of it.

I recently found a thread that said that it can be rectified with PS. Every example I've seen has been so minor to begin with that it wasn't difficut to fix.

Mine is more noticeable and I was wondering if somebody could tell me if it's possible to fix without it looking fake..

I attached a couple of pictures of my eyes. These are probably two of my better pictures..Please help!

Your samples are quite small... but... might be possible (see below) by flipping and positioning the good eye... but it can only be rectified in pictures... real life is a different matter...

If you use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, you can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the 'save for web' function as described here:
Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images.. (Click here)

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere and attach a link in the thread...

Other Hosts if you do not have your own site:
ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) photobucket.com (1 Meg max free, 5 Meg PRO) mediafire.com (100 Meg per file, free) minus.com (200 Meg per file free) ...(post a link to the highest resolution.. or the largest size you can upload)

If you use Dropbox then I think a link to the picture in the 'Public' folder would be accessible to most..

OMG. Awesome. Lol. I haven't seen myself with 2 even eyes in years.

Any chance you can give me the bulleted version of how you did that? I just bought PS element and trying to navigate my way thru it.

- copy the full good eye with a little room around the edges
- paste
- flip horizontal
- move, rotate and adjust to fit the droopy eye
- hide with mask the extra skin around eye not needed
- clone pupil from good eye to make the highlights right

Okay.. I am new at this (obviously) but as I was trying to outline the good eye (lasso) I received this message and I don't know what it means: "No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selected edges won't be visible" I tried the save to web thing and I was able to get the lasso to at least remain in place without disappearing and have that warning come up. Unfortunately I was only able to do it once.
I'm sorry for all the questions and I'm currently looking at the "how to" for PS but can't find that info. I think I just need to take a tutorial considering I can't seem to get past the copy and paste part. lol

Hi Melissa

The reason you got that message is because the ‘feather’ is set too high. Change the ‘feather’ to 0 px and you will be able to select the area without a warning message

Thank you. Yes that fixed that issue.

I'm going by what 0lBaldy gave me for editing my pic. I'm getting there. I just have to figure out how to make the eye look natural. LOL

Right now I look like some troll that lives under a bridge with the way I have it now. Hilarious!!

just watching youtube videos to figure out about feathering, blending, etc . Thanks you guys for all your help...

0lBaldy had it done so quickly, and i'm on day two. lol

Speed comes with experience. OlBaldy is a great experienced resource. We here at RTP are lucky to have him. You can learn a lot around here.
