I downloaded a trial version and tried it out on a bunch of photos, but I was very disappointed. The bottom line for me was: it doesn't work for out-of-focus images, and it works only for a fraction of images that are blurred due to camera movement.
As an example, I couldn't make anything of the text that started this thread. Maybe others could?

I downloaded it too back when I saw what it did to the telephonenumber. I was also dissappointed. It did actually remove blur and work well in areas but on a normal photo as a whole it didnt look good. Might work well selectively masked, but it was slow which made all the settings a guess and wait kind of experience. Posted the link because i thought it could work well on a "uniform" kind of image like the text image seeing what it did to that telephone number, because that was really amazing. I have seen screnshots of a function in the newest version of PS CC which look very much like the GUI of SmartDeblur. Its also worth mention that SmartDeblur is a standalone application and not a plug-in, something I personly found a bit annoying

I've often found the same thing. Works for a dog and pony trial image, but rarely helps much in genuine out of focus imagery. Especially an image with very few total pixels.

I would be significantly impressed to see anyone post an improvement over what you have. But hey... always learning something.
