Hi to all__This portrait was taken outdoors in overcast lighting in front of a brick wall with the subject seated on a bench. A straight forward setting enriched by the varigated background, which took the largest proportion of time to work up this portrait__Comments invited___MH

I love the way you've done this lady. What a lovely painted look, and yet you have kept so much of the detail. I also like the background and it's multicolors.
Small comment - I wonder in this case if the background is a tad overpowering. (maybe it's just me)

Murray.......
Think this is one of your best..... Am hooked on this effect, wish I had a Mac as the program, you are using only runs a Mac.
She has a lovely face...... a dear friend ?
My only small comment would be to lower or elimiate the discoloration on her neck. Even if it's real..... just my thought.
Would love to see you take one of our posted mini challenge pix, and show us what you can do......Please join us.

Murray,
What beautiful work you do, I think the change that you made to the picture is much more pleasing. The only suggestion I may have is to maybe make the teeth a little more white. If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use that only runs on a mac?
Thanks,
Lisa
