I'm trying to finish up an invite I'm making in CS3. I've got a pic that I want to use but the shadows by the ears are bugging me to pieces! I have been trying to work on them with no luck! Can someone please help me with this?
    Thanks in advance!

I've been trying to remove the shadow from this photo with little success.

Is it possible? The low contrast is causing the problem I think.

I'd appreciate any help with this.

    Thanks,

    Hi Folks,
My Bunny and I have returned to get your opinions on removing shadows.
It's the dark shadowing around the arms and shoulder that I'm concerned with. I'll probably clone the shadow around the ears.

Removing might be tough, but you can minimize using various techniques. You can try the Dodge brush, but duplicate the layer first. More controllable might be to make a new blank layer, set the blend mode to dodge or screen, then paint on it using white. That will probably be too strong, but reducing the opacity will fix that, and hide other possible flaws.
