  • Major crack right down photo

Any thoughts on a plan of attack for this major damage?

I've gotten great results by scanning the image, as usual, then flipping the image around and scanning again. I then lay one over the other via Layers in Photoshop. I play around with the opacity until the crack starts to fade, or sometimes all but disappears.

I recently purchased an Epson V550 to help me accomplish this (I have scanned before but I want to do it "right.") Something I noticed is that the scanner picks up everything,...

      Hello,

I'm about to scan in over 100 images that are about 50 years old and i had a person tell me that i may lose quality when scanning the images and that some of the photos may lose the whole image because of the paper its been printed on.

      Now before i start scanning...
