  • photo stuck to glass

    Hi All,

Just got a picture that’s suffered water damage. That’s not the problem, the problem is that it’s stuck to the glass it was framed under. I’d just try laying the whole thing on my scanner, but the glass is non-glare which means that the picture isn’t as sharp as it should be. Anyone have experience pulling off a photo that’s stuck to glass? The more of the image I can keep, the less time I need to spend on it.

    Thanks a lot!

We just had another post like this one. Check this thread. It was started by Lampy, who is a conservator.

      Photo stuck to glass

I'm working on a photo that is stuck to the glass. I don't want to remove the glass because the photo may become damaged, but I was able to scan it and it came out without any glare. The problem is the areas that are stuck to the glass have scanned a bit discoloured, the photo is black and white, so...

Making a glass out of liquid
      by rygold
Yes I realise the post is confusing but I would like to make it appear as if a vodka glass has been created out of water droplets (or vodka.) I have seen a few commercials with that look and was wondering if anyone new how to go about it. I'm presuming many passes of the liquify tool? But what else....
