Does anyone have special procedures when scanning photos that have been subject to mould damage. I have recently been given a number of dried photos to restore that are suffering from old water damage and mould I am scanning them. As the mould has dried its likely that any spores have died but I am just wondering whether I should be doing any other special cleaning...and if so what you could use that is neutral that would prevent damage to photos and documents that you scan in future.

by ShoffI have a bunch of photos my family gave me to work on. I'd like to get the originals back to them ASAP. Do I scan them in one at a time, or can I put a bunch on at once? That would save so much time considering each scan takes between 5 and 20 minutes.

by ShoffIs there a safe way to do this or should I not even bother. I just worked on photos that had tape on them. Since it was a friends, I did use an exacto knife to remove the tape. Other then a little scratch it worked well.
