  • Your Portfolio Recommendations

How do you prepare your portfolio?
Do you print your portfolio, or only make a digital version?
If you print, how do you present it? Binder? Case? Envelope?
If you print, what is your workflow?
If digital only, what format do you use? PDF? HTML? Video?
Do you use special (ie: not Photoshop) software?
Do you publish your portfolio directly to a website? Which one?
    Do you make different versions?

Feel free to link to your portfolio, but only if you answer some of the questions.

    Re: Your Portfolio Recommendations

I organize images in galleries and the most recent is a flash slideshow on my web site. I don't do a formal portfolio. I use Lightroom for every image, Photoshop for anything Lightroom can't handle. All of my client work is in private galleries on the web site. I used to use SmugMug but as of a couple of years ago it was difficult to sell custom printed images through the site. (Except for albums I do most of the printing myself). I've used Zenfolio for a while and I've been satisfied with it.

Do you publish your portfolio directly to a website? Which one? - Yes to my own blog as well as some portfolio creation website.
Do you make different versions? - It depends!
