  • good black and white prints

I am having a hard time getting good black and white on a Fuji Pictography 3000. Does anyone have a good solution? It is an actual photographic printer. You send your image in RGB. I usually get the photo leaning towards the green or red.

I'm not familiar with that printer. Does it accept ICC profiles? On a properly calibrated system (assuming the hardware allows calibration) you shouldn't have to make adjustments to the image to tweak the printing. This is a dream, obviously, but we're getting pretty close. And for b/w printing it should be dead-on.

Try a search here for ICC, and deja.com and google for ICC combined with your printer name. You'll find tons of opinions.
