    New Skintones Custom Chart/Swatch

It’s a better quality Image (larger) and the RGB & CMYK numbers are correct. The old one has some mistakes. Plus a small tutorial on how to make a custom swatch out the above chart.
I hope you find this of some use.

Note: A larger tiff file can be made available if needed

I posted this in the photo art forum then thought this is the place I should have posted it.

      Custom CMYK and rendering intents
      by Guest
      Hi,

Apparently, a custom CMYK profile generated in PS (CS5) should not support rendering intents. I tried generating a profile with rich black 78c63m64y50k (Light GCR) and converting to it from sRGB. I actually get the choice of perceptual intent that compresses the Magenta and Yellow...

      CMYK Separation as TIFF?
      by Shotster
I'm submitting some digital photos to a magazine to be considered for inclusion in an upcoming issue. Here's a quote stating how to submit them:

      > If sending your submission on cd, please save to Photoshop TIFF,
      > CMYK, 300 dpi minimum with color proofs (fetch catalog appreciated)...

How to prepare a photo for CMYK output
      by Pacificpowered
      Hi,

I'm doing photo retouching work for a guy. He recently asked me if I could make the next job “CMYK print ready”.

Is thing as easy as switching the mode from RGB to CMYK? Or do I need to bump up the mid-tones on the photo as well? Is there more…?

      CMYK nightmares in Photoshop CS2!

      Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to put the final touches on my first children's book and I ran into an issue that I don't know how to fix. The pages I have worked on the past few days are all in CMYK and for some reason they went totally dull in color. I converted the file to RGB and back but...
