This is an action inspired by David Rowley.

To get the results I got in the example attached, the action was run against the original image, then RUN AGAIN against the image generated by running the action. Layer "D" was turned on to reveal texture. The blend mode of layer "C" was changed from Soft Light to Multiply.
DISCLAIMER: Works pretty good on "non-people" images. Not at all good on human subjects. Keep image resolution in the 75-150 ppi ballpark for rendering; increase resolution as needed if you decide to print.
