  • Two more Painter 7 images

Probably about a 1/2 hour on each image. I know they need work. I'm just posting because I'm excited about the possibilities. I borrowed 5 watercolor and flower drawing books from the library. Hopefully when I understand the "analog" techniques better, it'll make me better in photoshop / painter.

I'm glad you found a way you can live with Painter. It's a pretty addicting program, even though I cannot say I've gotten very with it.

      Jack:

Are you pretty much "free hand" sketching these (via tablet) or are you using some of Painter's trace or clone features?

In any event, these are very nice. I share you excitement about Painter's possibilities.

I'm embarrassed to admit that these are just "clone-mode" drawings - Similar to using the pattern brush in PS 7...

Glad that you got Painter working..Your results are great..After playing with Classic for a few days, I decided to take the Painter plunge and am waiting for its arrival..Keep posting examples, I'm sure to have questions for you when my copy arrives.

Thanks Jerry. Painter sure is different than photoshop and you really have to baby it sometimes to avoid crashes but it does stuff that Photoshop just cannot do...

I'll be happy to answer any questions but the real experts are at:
