I've heard that one blurry picture is a mistake and three are a 'style' . These where shot before I realized that I still had my ND filter on.
I've done the same thing with pictures and after the period of grief (where I realized I'd lost the shots), then turned those same shots into art. It think it is great that someone finally posted these types of pictures for painting. They make terrific subjects. Way to go!
Steve - it slowed the shutter speed down to where a handheld shot would be blurred

Janet - I had deleted them from Lightroom but then started thinking about them and so revived them and started playing
