Really like the edge effect Kai. Image on the teenie side (so if you have the link to the online source, that would be cool). Anyway, tried to fake an HDR and push it to the illustration side.
This was fun! Everyone's offering great interpretive results here.
After doing some cropping I took two approaches (artistic and vintage), first using PostworkShop (unedited presets) for the art and Retrographer (with adjustments) for the vintage.
was intrigued by the lady in the window.. so I got started trying to bring out some detail in the shadows, then ran Redfields Fractalius a few times with different settings then blended and masked the layers together.. used Snap Arts watercolor and finished using FotoSketchers watercolor and blending all the layers again..
